If you’re looking for loving, well-behaved Yorkies who are ready to bring joy into your home, Scampi and Trixie are two wonderful dogs currently available for adoption in Ballito. Both are 7 years old, house-trained, leash-trained, and have excellent manners in the home and out on walks. They are adaptable, happy to be left alone during the day, and calm in the car – making them a great fit for a variety of households.

Although they can be adopted together, they are not a bonded pair and can be rehomed separately.

Scampi – Cheeky, Protective, and Affectionate

Scampi is a small male Yorkshire Terrier with a big personality. He’s cheeky, confident, and loves to “protect” his person. Beneath that bold exterior, he’s a real cuddle-lover who enjoys spending time close to his human.

Children: Excellent with children.
Dogs: Great with other dogs; grew up with a Labrador.
Cats: No exposure.

Scampi walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys the beach, and approaches other dogs with confidence. He’s calm during storms and fireworks and travels well in the car.

Trixie – Talkative and Snack-Loving

Trixie is a female Yorkshire Terrier with a charming, chatty personality. She will “tell” you exactly how she feels and adores tasty treats. She’s playful, enjoys going out, and has a calm temperament.

Children: Best with older children; does not like babies. and may get jealous with a baby on the lap.
Dogs: Excellent with other dogs.
Cats: No exposure.

Trixie is equally good on leash walks, loves trips to the beach, and is completely at ease during storms or fireworks.
